VIDEO PREMIERE: NERVE RECRUITS RAJ MAHAL, MARTY BUGATTI & OBI ILL ON 'A.S.M.R.'

Brisbane rapper/producer/all-round weapon Nerve is set to release his Mumma’s Boy EP on September 20, and ahead of the release, he’s given us a banging sneak preview with his cheekily-titled new single, ‘A.S.M.R.’ There’s absolutely nothing relaxing about the overblown track, which recruits the help of Raj Mahal and Triple One members Marty Bugatti & Obi Ill. It’s a collaboration that makes sense, given that Nerve joined Triple One on their recent national ‘Butter’ tour, where Raj Mahal also made a guest appearance for ‘Jitter’.

‘A.S.M.R.’ has no hook, just four back-to-back verses of assertive, hard-hitting bars from the four emcees. And if the beat sounds familiar, Nerve produced it and already murdered it on this triple j underground cypher alongside Alex Jones, ChillinIt & Huskii from 2018. Since then, it’s morphed into an official track in ‘A.S.M.R.’ and a solid precursor for Nerve’s upcoming EP. The video was filmed at Bodega Collective’s studio in Sydney’s west.

Nerve will be performing this week as part of BIGSOUND festival in his hometown, before he embarks on yet another national tour this October & November. See the dates here and watch ‘A.S.M.R.’ first below:
